Why did we launch Seizure Alert Australia?
We searched the web for seizure alert and monitoring options suitable for our situation and found the distinct lack of choices available in Australia concerning.
Like many before us, we had tried baby monitors and security cameras to ensure we were always watching.
And whilst these items worked reasonable well, they still meant we suffered from a lack of sleep and the need to constantly monitor our child's welfare.
As a result of this concern, Seizure Alert Australia was born.
We’re personally driven to source the best available and newly developed seizure monitoring products and devices from around the world.
Our journey began with the birth of our third child, Lara. Within the first weeks we were back in hospital after she experienced her first seizures when she was only ten days old....
